Chapter 2:
Vs. 1-3 - The creation ended and God rested on the seventh day.
Vs 4-...
God has created heaven and earth and vegetation but there was no man to till the ground. But a mist from the earth usually watered the ground. God finally created man from the dust and breathed life into his nostrils and he became a living soul. And God planted a garden eastward of Eden and put the man there. And the land gave vegetations.
The rivers:
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden, it parted and became four heads.
2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
2:13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
God commanded man to eat of all the trees except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For when he eat of it, he will surely die.
God then decided to find him a helper. He had formed animals and had made him to name them. He caused him to fall into a deep sleep, took one of his ribs and covered the place with flesh then formed woman from the rib. He brought her to the man and he named her 'Woman' because she was taken from man.
Last Verses:
2:24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
2:25 The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
